In times of uncertainty and disconnection, some people rise to create spaces where others can heal and find community. Such is the story of 24K Healing’s founder, who in 2020 launched the Soul Healers Method & Community. Fueled by the desire to provide safety and authenticity, she built a haven for sensitive souls. Through her personal journey of overcoming anxiety, people-pleasing, and burnout, she learned the power of self-care and boundaries. Now, she’s on a mission to continue growing this space, with dreams of a retreat center and spirit school, where holistic healing can thrive for all.
1. What inspired you to create the Soul Healers Method & Community, and how did your personal experiences shape this initiative?
I started in 2020 just after covid started and noticed many people were feeling unsafe, disconnected and lonely. I created a safe space for all, who are seen, felt and heard. A space to share, cocreate, connect authentically.
2. How has working with sensitive individuals influenced your own approach to mental health and self-care?
Sensitivity is a super power and is something we all have, unfortunately many including me didn’t feel safe to be myself and we shut down our natural abilities. This manifested as people pleasing, addictions, anxiety, depression, codependency, perfectionism, hormonal issues and attracted narcissists. I saw how ritual, self care practices done daily helped alleviate and heal many of these issues.
3. How do you handle the emotional demands of supporting others while managing your own well-being?
I set limits and stay within it, animals, journaling, healing frequencies, essential oils, plants, daily self care rituals (meditation, breathwork, yoga, grounding, prayer and eating whole food), maintaining boundaries and taking care of myself first before anything else.
4. Can you share any strategies you use to balance the emotional labor of your work with your personal life?
No, is a complete sentence. Scheduling in self care each day (morning) and evening. Working certain hours of the day and no more. It’s all about balance, priorities and focused attention on what works and what doesn’t. Having fun is the most important, if we are not, why are we doing it and are we laughing?
5. Looking ahead, what are your future goals for your community, and how do you plan to continue growing and evolving in your role?
To have a physical retreat centre for all sentient beings with a group of practitioners to help facilitate it all. Eventually having a spirit school as I have many courses, mentorships and certifications for others to explore.
