In a constant search for an unreachable enigma
You can’t come too close to the sun.
Sometimes I feel as though I’m about to catch it
But it fades away in infinite seconds
If I were to grasp it, I’d lock it in a cage like the
hummingbird of Hafez
But the waves seem to drag it away, with their
silent melodies at the shore
Once I feel it beat within me, it pumps my vessels
A state I’ve never felt before
May it not fade
I hope it doesn’t fade
But it does
It always fades
I want to drive away
And cross realities at the traffic lights
Turn into a hummingbird at a sanatorium
But I must stay
Although I feel chained
In a distortion of the Leviathan
I live life like a blur
It’s a sedative
Incessantly trying to reach the moon
But the earth rotates the other way round
When I do feel like in space
I come to learn that I’m simply walking on ash
The moon does not exist.
