The Kiss of Death

Can you feel it?

The incredible kiss of death

Whose lips welcome us like a portal

To new worlds.

Were they the lips of an angel

Or the bite of something nefarious?

It is only beyond that act of sweet relief

That we see the beast

Or the pearly gates

No matter, a death

Is not an end,

But a place to start again

And so,

If it’s to the depths of hell you go

You’ll find that the ninth circle of

Hell makes for quite the place to

Take notice of everything not aligned

And start again.

Can you feel it?

The redefining breath of life

Whose mouth ushers transformation forward on its tracks.

Was it the song of a siren

Or the words of a poet?

It is only beyond that moment once wrapped in darkness

Plunged to light

That we see the prison

Or paradise.

No matter, rebirth

Is a journey,

Not a destination

And so,

Wait for the next death to come around

And you can try again.
