1. What inspired you to start Artworkbyjenndesigns, LLC? Were there any specific moments or experiences that led you to pursue this path?
Within the last 7 years, I engaged in private art lessons, and art classes. I realized very quickly that I had a new found passion for creating art!
2. Your business aims to inspire young women interested in art careers and raise awareness about mental health issues like Bipolar Disorder and Anxiety. Can you share more about how these passions intersect in your work?
I myself, have both Bipolar Disorder, and anxiety. My goal is to raise awareness of these conditions, especially among young adults, that may be struggling with mental health. Art and painting can be a great outlet, to help reduce symptoms in both conditions.
3. Can you share a particularly memorable or inspiring moment you've experienced on your entrepreneurial journey so far?
I have had opportunities to have my art featured at a local hospital near me. I also had the opportunity to recently complete my 1st out of state art commission project!
4. What advice would you give to other aspiring entrepreneurs, especially those looking to start a business in the creative industry?
Patience is key! Always keep searching for new opportunities to branch out in your creative field! Social Media can be a great networking tool!
5. How do you prioritize self-care and manage your own mental health while navigating the demands of entrepreneurship? I attend weekly therapy sessions! I am also a mom, and a wife, spending time with family is crucial to both of these aspects.
