Corporate life has me completely burned out. There’s so much context switching — meetings, messages, projects, deadlines — that even though I’m technically working eight hours, it feels like twelve.
My brain never gets a break. I’m constantly shifting gears, pretending to be focused while my energy drains little by little. By the end of the day, I feel like I’ve lived three different lives and finished none of them.
I used to think burnout meant working too much. Now I realize it’s also about never being able to fully stop.
