They say I'm too intense
It makes sense
Although I take offense
Blame it on my demons
They feed the negativity in my brain
It makes me go insane
I promise I will change
But then it happens again and again
I let people in and they walk out
While I sit on the couch and pout
I guess this is how things will be
Until I look deep within me
And see what doesn't serve me anymore
Leave room for more love and happiness
Once I have achieved internal bliss
I can finally say it doesn't get better than this
