Can you share with us your personal journey that led you to start MAMI on a Mission LLC and write your book, “MAMI on a Mission: A Guide Towards Healing Self-Discovery and Walking in Confidence”?
My journey to starting MAMI on a Mission LLC and writing my book was deeply personal and transformative. After experiencing domestic abuse, I realized the importance of healing, self-discovery, and regaining confidence. This journey of self-reclamation inspired me to create a platform where I could share my experiences, insights, and tools to empower other women on their paths to healing and self-discovery.
What were some of the biggest challenges or struggles you faced while rebuilding your life after experiencing domestic abuse?
Rebuilding my life after domestic abuse came with its share of challenges. Some of the biggest struggles included overcoming trauma, rebuilding self-esteem, and navigating the emotional scars left by the experience. It was a process that required immense courage, resilience, and support from loved ones and professionals.
How did you find the inspiration and strength to overcome these challenges and turn your experiences into a platform for helping other women?
My inspiration and strength came from within, fueled by a deep desire to break free from the cycle of abuse and create a better life for myself and my loved ones. I also found strength in connecting with other survivors, hearing their stories, and realizing that I was not alone in my journey. This collective strength motivated me to turn my experiences into a platform for helping other women.
What are some of the key lessons you’ve learned throughout your journey of healing and self-discovery?
Throughout my healing and self-discovery journey, I learned valuable lessons about resilience, self-love, boundaries, and the power of community and support. I discovered the importance of honoring my feelings, setting healthy boundaries, and embracing my worthiness.
Could you share a particularly inspirational moment or story from your work with MAMI on a Mission that has had a significant impact on you or someone you’ve helped?
One particularly inspirational moment from my work with MAMI on a Mission was when a client shared how the tools and insights from my book helped her break free from an abusive relationship and embark on a journey of self-love and empowerment. Witnessing her transformation and seeing her reclaim her confidence was incredibly impactful and reaffirmed the importance of the work I do.
What advice would you give to women who are currently facing similar challenges or who are in the process of rebuilding their lives after trauma?
To women facing similar challenges or rebuilding their lives after trauma, I would advise seeking professional support, surrounding yourself with a supportive community, honoring your feelings, practicing self-care, setting boundaries, and believing in your strength and resilience.
In your book, you talk about walking in confidence. How do you define confidence, and what strategies do you recommend for women to cultivate and maintain confidence in their lives?
Confidence, to me, is about embracing your worth, trusting yourself, and owning your strengths and vulnerabilities. Some strategies for cultivating confidence include positive self-talk, setting achievable goals, stepping out of your comfort zone, practicing self-compassion, and celebrating your successes.
What role has self-care played in your healing journey, and what self-care practices do you find most effective or meaningful?
Self-care played a crucial role in my healing journey. Some effective self-care practices include mindfulness meditation, regular exercise, journaling, spending time in nature, nurturing meaningful relationships, and prioritizing rest and relaxation.
How do you envision the future of MAMI on a Mission LLC, and what are your goals for the impact you want to make in the lives of women moving forward?
I envision MAMI on a Mission LLC continuing to grow as a beacon of hope and empowerment for women worldwide. My goals include expanding outreach, offering more resources and support programs, and making a lasting positive impact on the lives of women seeking healing and transformation.
