Janietta Watts

I am a poet and author from Atlanta, Ga. I began writing at a very young age. At that time I didn't realize that what I was doing was an art. I was raised as an only child and writing short stories and poems was the way I communicated and used my imagination since I had no siblings around to embark on imaginary journeys or share my thoughts with. I am now striving to finish two books in between being a full-time mother of two and a full-time employee. In my rare free time I perform at open mic poetry nights throughout the city of Atlanta and network with other poets and performers.
